Christie Eze is the Founder and Principal Lawyer of KedgeAnchor Law. With more than 23 years of legal experience, her practice focuses on employment law, corporate and commercial matters, and governance-related advisory work.

Qualified to practise law in Alberta, Ontario and Nigeria, Christie brings a multidisciplinary perspective developed through private legal practice, in-house advisory work, human resources, dispute resolution, governance and organizational leadership. Her professional background allows her to consider not only the legal issues facing a client, but also the commercial, organizational and human considerations that often sit behind them.

Christie advises employers, executives, professionals and businesses on workplace relationships, employment agreements, terminations, organizational risk, contractual matters, commercial relationships and disputes. Her approach is strategic and commercially informed, with an emphasis on helping clients understand both their legal position and the practical implications of the decisions available to them.

As a Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), Christie brings additional depth in corporate governance, board oversight, organizational risk and people strategy. Her governance and human-resources experience complements her legal practice, particularly when advising businesses, boards, executives and organizational decision-makers.

Christie is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and brings significant experience in negotiation, dispute resolution and litigation strategy.

She holds an MSc/LL.M in Oil & Gas Law from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and an LL.B. from Rivers State University. Her professional development spans law, human resources, governance and alternative dispute resolution.

Beyond practice, Christie contributes to professional mentorship, legal education, community leadership and board governance. Through KedgeAnchor Academy, she supports the development of emerging legal professionals through practical legal training and mentorship.
