Jemima Aklamanu

Profile

Jemima Aklamanu is a dual-qualified lawyer in Alberta and Ontario whose practice focuses on family law, employment law, and wills and estates. She also brings broader experience in civil litigation and administrative law.

She completed her articles at a Toronto law firm where she gained experience in wills and estates, corporate-commercial law and family law. Following her admission to practise in Alberta, Jemima continued developing her practice in Calgary and has represented clients both in and outside the courtroom.

Jemima takes a practical and client-focused approach to legal matters. She works closely with clients to understand their circumstances, explain their options clearly and develop strategies that reflect both their legal position and their individual objectives.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Music from the University of Ghana, an LL.B. from the University of Birmingham in England and an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto.

Outside practice, Jemima enjoys music, travelling, spending time with family and friends and contributing to community and non-governmental initiatives.
